A Troy man facing multiple indictments alleging sex-related offenses against a child younger than age 10 pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Miami County Common Pleas Court.
Charles C. Cox, 43, is charged with two counts of felony rape, two counts of gross sexual imposition, one count of pandering sexually oriented material and six counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material.
The charges involve alleged sexual contact and conduct with the child in June and July in Troy. Cox also is accused of taking sexually graphic photos and making a video of the child on his phone.
Judge Christopher Gee set bail at $250,000 cash or surety.

Troy police say that after a two-day investigation they booked a Troy man in jail Thursday night on numerous charges of alleged sex-related offenses to include rape of a child.
He is Charles C. Cox, 43, Troy.

Cox was arraigned Friday in Miami County Municipal Court where bond was set at $800,000 cash. He pleaded not guilty.
Other charges include two counts gross sexual imposition and seven counts of pandering obscenities involving a minor. All of the charges are felonies.
