Skies will become mostly clear around sunset with warm temperatures slowly dropping back through the 80s, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.
“It will be comfortably warm with low humidity. Clouds will increasae late tonight with temperatures falling back into the middle 60s by morning,” Elwell said.
Tuesday: The day will start out with partly cloudy skies and pleasant temperatures. However the heat and humidity will be on the rise through the day with scattered showers and storms developing by late afternoon. Some locally heavy rainfall with be possible. Highs will reach into the upper 80s.
Wednesday: Partly sunny skies are expected with scattered showers and storms returning during the afternoon. It will again be hot and muggy with highs in the upper 80s.
Thursday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds with occasional showers or storms possible. Highs will soar to near 90 degrees with the heat index approaching 100 degrees by late in the day.
Friday: Another very hot and muggy day is in the forecast under partly sunny skies. Pop-up showers and storms will be possible at about anytime. The high will be near 90 degrees with the heat index nearing 100.
Saturday: Scattered showers and storms will become more numerous as a slow moving cold front moves into the Miami Valley. Locally heavy rain will be possible as the front pushes through. With more clouds and showers around, temperatures are expected to hold in the middle to upper 80s.
