DAYTON — The Dayton Flyers will be part of an eight-team field for the 2021 ESPN Events Invitational.
The tournament will be held Thanksgiving weekend, Thursday November 25 through Sunday November 28, at HP Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports near Orlando, FL. Other participants include Alabama, Belmont, Drake, Iona, Kansas, Miami (FL) and North Texas.

This will be UD’s third trip to the Orlando event. They won the championship in 2011 and finished runner up in 2015. The ESPN Events Invitational will mark the 14th straight exempt tournament for the Flyers in a full season schedule.
Dayton went 14-10 last season, reaching the NIT. You can hear every Dayton Flyer men’s basketball game during the season on the home of the Flyers; 1290 and 95.7, WHIO. It will also be broadcast here on WHIO.com.
