HGTV stars Erin Napier and Ben Napier announced a new addition to their family.
The couple announced the birth of their second child together, People reported. Mae Napier checked in at 8:23 a.m. Friday, weighing 7 pounds, 1 ounce and measuring 19 1/2 inches in length, according to the magazine.
The child is named for Erin Napier’s Aunt Mae, Us Weekly reported.
The couple, who star in HGTV’s “Home Town” and “Home Town Takeover,” also have a daughter together, 3-year-old Helen, according to People.
“While we are excited to have another daughter to love, we are more excited to see the bond she and Helen will have,” the Napiers told the magazine. “They’re already so in love with each other!”
Erin Napier shared an Instagram post that featured several Polaroid shots of their new baby.
The Napiers first announced they were expecting in April, “Today” reported. At the time, they wrote on Instagram that they would be “adding another little face to (their) home videos and photo albums” in “just a few weeks.”
In the post, the couple said they kept the news within their circle of family and close friends for “almost eight months.”
The couple was working on several shows when they found out about the pregnancy last September, filming “Home Town” in Laurel, Mississippi, and “Home Town Takeover” about 200 miles away in Wetumpka, Alabama, People reported.
“The last six months of 2020 really, you know, it was rough,” Ben Napier told the magazine. “It’s all a blur.”
“We were like, ‘Ooh, this is going to be tough, but we can do it,’” Erin Napier added. “We don’t remember anything, but I’m glad somebody was filming all of it.”
