National Night Out is Tuesday August 3 for several different locations throughout the area.
National Night Out is an event where neighbors can share concerns, strategies, and ideas for safer communities. There are family activities that differs based on your location.
Here are some of the different areas offering National Night Out:

MONTGOMERY COUNTY:
· Trotwood National Night Out: Time: 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the Home Depot Lot at 5200 Salem Ave, Trotwood.
· Centerville’s Mystery Night Out: Time: 6 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. at Stubbs Park Amphitheater. The evening will begin and end at Stubbs Park where they will have crime prevention and health related booths along with music, games, and food.
· Moraine National Night Out: Time: 6 p.m. at 3800 Main St, Moraine.
· The City of Dayton’s National Night Out: Time: 5 p.m., the Dayton Police Department will lead a neighborhood caravan tour which will make stops at these National Night Out community celebrations:
5:00 p.m. – Northwest Library – 2410 Philadelphia Dr.
5:35 p.m. – Oak & Ivy Park – 798 Anderson-Goodrich Ct.
6:20 p.m. – Edgemont Solar Gardens – 907 Miami Chapel Rd.
7:00 p.m. – Huffman Historic – East Third & June Streets
7:35 p.m. – Oregon District – Newcom Founders Park – Corner of Brown & Green Streets

· Miami Twp. National Night Out: Time: 6 p.m. at Austin Landing.
· Harrison Twp.: Time: 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. at Northridge Schools, located on 2011 Timber Lane. Food and drinks will be available to the public at no cost. Music, games, and vendors will be at the event including Public Health of Dayton & Montgomery County.
· Riverside National Night Out: Time: 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Stebbins High School
· Kettering National Night Out: Time: 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. on 3600 Shroyer Rd.
GREENE COUNTY:
· Beavercreek National Night Out: Time: 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Beavercreek Police Department and City Hall. They will be opening their doors to the public for first responders, city staff, and city council member to meet, greet and answer questions. Family fun and food courtesy of Texas Roadhouse and the police department.
WARREN COUNTY:
· Clearcreek Twp./Springboro’s National Night Out: Time: 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at Patricia Allyn Park. There will be a live vehicle extraction, Miami Valley CareFlight landing, officer blue the comfort dog, raffle tickets and prizes.
MIAMI COUNTY:
· Troy’s National Night Out: Time: 4 p.m.-9 p.m. there will be multiple neighborhoods hosting Block Party for this national night out. Visits from Troy Police, Troy Fire Department, Miami County Park District, and more. Neighborhoods include:
4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. – Garden Manor Apts. – 505 Crescent Dr.
6 p.m.-9 p.m. – Kensington – 2700 Block of Southside Dr.
6 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. – Stonebridge Lakes Park – Community Pond
4 p.m.- 6 p.m. – Terrace Ridge Apts. – 1312 McKaig Ave.
6 p.m.- 8 p.m. – Gospel Community Church – 1102 S. Market St.
7 p.m. - 9 p.m. – Mayfair Rd North
SHELBY COUNTY:
· Lockington’s National Night Out: Time: 6 p.m. Lockington Firefighters are converting a fire truck into a splash pad at the firehouse for kids.
