Miller has been confirmed for a promotion to brigadier general. The base announced he would be leaving for Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, where he will become the director of Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection for Pacific Air Forces.

Miller took over as the 88th Air Base Wing commander in June 2020.

“I know the 88th will be in great hands with Col. Meeker and his family, and they will continue to provide strength through support for our mission and Dayton community partners,” Miller said in a statement.
