Training exercise to close National Museum of U.S. Air Force today

W.P.A.F.B. — People living near Wright Patterson Air Force Base (W.P.A.F.B.) may hear and see more traffic today.

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force Base will conduct training exercises today involving emergency vehicles and alert sirens, a WPAFB spokesperson said.

The training will temporarily block roads.

The 88th Air Base Wing said on social media that people are reminded not to call 911.

Emergency response agencies and nearby dispatch centers have also been notified, according to the spokesperson.

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force is closed today.

It will reopen on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
