BELLEFONTAINE — A 28-year-old man is in the Logan County Jail after police found suspected drugs and cash inside his pickup truck while he was parked in an alley with no lights on, according to a police report.

Derrek Driscol was booked on multiple drug charges and a warrant for failure to appear, records show.

Police found Driscol while patrolling the area of North Detroit and North Main streets around 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning.

After going up to Driscol’s vehicle, officers found suspected drugs stashed throughout the pickup truck, including a “large baggie of suspected methamphetamine hidden behind the carpet near the center dash of the vehicle,” the report read.

Officers also recovered around $450 and some digital scales from Driscol, the report read.
