CLARK COUNTY — State troopers and medics responded after a vehicle hit a utility pole in Clark County on Monday.

Clark County Sheriff’s deputies and medics were initially dispatched around 2:50 a.m. to W. Clark Street near Sturgeon Park on initial reports of a crash.
State troopers from the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) are investigating the crash, according to OSHP dispatchers.

Dispatchers also told News Center 7 that state troopers had just arrived.
Initial scanner traffic indicated that a pole was cut in half, and power crews were also at the scene. That is currently unconfirmed.
