Gov. Mike DeWine has announced a new Health Director for the state as well as a Chief Medical Officer.
Stephanie McCloud has been appointed to the position of Ohio Department of Health Director, replacing Dr. Amy Acton who resigned from her position earlier this year. McCloud previously served as the Director of the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.
"She has the experience necessary to lead ODH as it carries out its important health functions while also battling the pandemic, DeWine said.
DeWine also announced a new position of Chief Medical Officer for the state as the pandemic continues to effect the state.
Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff, who has been serving for more than a decade as the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Ohio Health, was appointed to the position of Chief Medical Officer.
