A man wanted in the shooting last month outside a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel in Miami Twp. was formally charged Tuesday by a Montgomery County grand jury.
Jesse Lamar Shepherd, 28, remains on the run as there is a warrant for his arrest.
Shepherd’s charges include two counts of aggravated attempted murder, one count of attempted murder, three counts of aggravated robbery, three counts of aggravated robbery; two counts of felonious assault; and one count of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.
All but one of the charges have a three-year firearm specification.
Police were called Dec. 18, 2019, to the hotel near the Dayton Mall for a shooting, which led to a car chase and then crash at Nicholas and Dryden roads.
At the crash, Dennis Lamar Taylor, one of the two men involved, was arrested but police said Shepherd fled.
