Highspeed chase ends in Harrison Twp.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY — An early morning high-speed chase ends in Harrison Township after police attempted to stop a vehicle in Perry Township Sunday morning.

Montgomery County Dispatch tells us Perry Twp. Police attempted to pull over the vehicle around 5:36 a.m. Sunday.

Officers tried to stop the vehicle for speed and other road violations, dispatch said.

That’s when the suspect took off and led crews on a high-speed chase. Emergancy scanners indicated the chase traveling as far north as Tipp City.

Speeds upwards to around 90 mph were reached according to scanner traffic.

The pursuit finally ended at Fredrick Pike and Dixie Drive in Harrison Township around 6:19 a.m.

Harrison Township Police, Dayton Police, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and other agencies aided Perry Twp. in the pursuit.

It’s currently unclear if anyone has been injured at the time of this reporting.
