Police are investigating a three-vehicle accident in Botkins that sent one of the drivers, an expectant mother, to a hospital to be checked out and left a piece of farm equipment partially lodged in a house.

The crash at state Route 274 and County Road 25A Thursday involved a pickup truck that was carrying a large farm combine header, a semitrailer carrying tomatoes and a van, Botkins police said.
The accident was reported about 4:30 p.m.
According to the preliminary investigation, the combine header slammed into a house in the crash and ended up partially inside the structure. No one in the house was injured.
The woman driving the van was taken to a hospital to be checked out, police said.
The accident remains under investigation.
