UPDATE: Kettering man, subject of statewide missing adult alert, safely located

KETTERING — UPDATE @ 7:45 a.m. (Oct. 15):

Jerry Kain, the missing Kettering man who was the subject of a statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert, was located and is safe, a Kettering police spokesperson said in a Facebook post.

FIRST REPORT (Oct. 14)

A statewide Missing Adult Alert has been issued for an 80-year-old man from Kettering.

Jerry Kain drove away from his home on Aragon Ave. Thursday afternoon and failed to return.

Kain is a White man, 5′7″ tall and 180 lbs. He has gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen in a gray t-shirt and black shorts.

Kain suffers from Dementia and law enforcement is concerned for his safety.

He drives a black 2004 Ford F-150 with OH plate number CQ35BS.

Anyone who sees Kain is asked to call 911.
