Darke County teens work with former NFL player during Light Foundation camp

DARKE COUNTY — Seventeen young men in Darke County are learning how to develop skills, mindsets, and values from a three-time Super Bowl camp this week.

Former NFL player and Darke County native, Matt Light, created the Light Foundation nearly 20 years ago to help young people all over the country and World.

Light played for the New England Patriots.

This week some of the participating teens spent time busing tables at “Do Good Restaurant” and organizing pieces of wood for crafts.

The Light Foundation has helped raise 7 million dollars for various programs and initiatives worldwide since 2001.
