DARKE COUNTY — The Darke County Sheriff’s Office say they stopped more than 100 vehicles during their holiday traffic enforcement.
Deputies conducted 110 traffic stops during the enforcement, which started the week before Christmas and ran through New Year’s Day.

There were 100 warnings and 10 citations issued.
The 10 traffic citations resulted in one OVI, two driving under suspension and seven speeding violations.

Deputies said the majority for the warnings issued were for speeding violations.
The Darke County Sheriff’s Office said they plan to conduct more traffic enforcement details in the future, in hopes to make the county’s roads safe.
