SPRINGFIELD — Dayton police bomb squad members responded to a Springfield house Wednesday afternoon after a homeowner reported finding what they believe are sticks of dynamite, according to dispatch records.
The owner of the home had a company cleaning their home out when workers found what they believed to be a box containing dynamite.

The Dayton police bomb squad was called to the scene to investigate.
They found that the box did not contain dynamite, but did contain old road flares, according to the Springfield fire officials.
