DAYTON — AES Ohio says it is currently investigating a partial outage that caused lights to flicker at the University of Dayton Arena Wednesday night.

The cause of the partial outage is unknown at this time, an AES Ohio spokesperson said in a statement.
News Center 7′s James Rider, who was at the tournament, reported that the outage happened around 8:32 p.m.
According to AES Ohio, crews were on standby for the tournament who were able to quickly respond and transfer the arena to a secondary feeder to ensure no disruptions to the game, which was able to continue after a brief interruption.
Power is restored at this time and crews will continue to work to understand the initial cause of the outage, the statement said.
