The cause of the partial outage is unknown at this time, an AES Ohio spokesperson said in a statement.

News Center 7′s James Rider, who was at the tournament, reported that the outage happened around 8:32 p.m.

According to AES Ohio, crews were on standby for the tournament who were able to quickly respond and transfer the arena to a secondary feeder to ensure no disruptions to the game, which was able to continue after a brief interruption.
