PIQUA — Two people have been taken to the hospital after a Covington Police pursuit ends in Piqua, Sunday night.
The Piqua Police Department tells us officers out of Covington saw the suspects commit a traffic violation around 11:00 p.m.
The officers attempted to pull the suspect’s vehicle over and that’s when the suspect’s vehicle fled east.
Pursuit speeds reached up to 90 MPH according to the department.
Covington Police terminated the pursuit after the suspects turned off their headlights.
Around 11:16 p.m. the pursuing officers were flagged down by another driver who found the suspect’s vehicle crashed at the 36 Skate Club in Piqua.
Two people inside the vehicle were taken to local hospitals for their injuries.
