Flames damage multiple mobile homes in Clark Co.

PIKE TOWNSHIP — Six trailers were left damaged by a fire in Clark County.

Around 4:15 p.m. Pike Township and New Carlisle fire crews were called to a mobile home on fire in the first block of Todd Lee Drive, according to New Carlisle Fire Chief Steve Trusty.

The fire started in one mobile home and spread to others, he said.

Trusty said that no one was injured in the fire but a firefighter did suffer from heat exhaustion.

Multiple crews from around the county and neighboring counties responded, Trusty said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
