DAYTON — Popular Brown Street restaurant Zombie Dogz announced Friday it would not survive the loss of business due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a social media post, the restaurant announced their physical location at 1200 Brown Street will close permanently. However, owners will restart their food truck when they are able to do so safely.

“The past year or so have been trying for us as a restaurant. Sales have been down and we’ve been barely getting by every month. Unfortunately having to shut down for two months only made matters worse,” a restaurant spokesperson said in the social media post.
Zombie Dogz started as a popular food truck in 2012 before opening their first physical location near the University of Dayton in 2016.
