Coronavirus: Franklin Monroe school teachers send a message to students during stay-at-home order

DARKE COUNTY — Educators are finding creative ways to communicate with their students during Ohio’s stay-at-home order.

Whether it’s a parody video to bring a smile to their student’s faces or a video with a series of messages from each teacher, schools are doing what they can to stay connected to their students during a time when physical distance is crucial to the safety of everyone.

Faculty and staff at Franklin Monroe Local Schools, a rural school district, are among those in surrounding communities sending messages to their students to let them know they are missed and they hope to see them again soon.

Staying at home, learning remotely and only going out for essential items has been an adjustment for many. During this global pandemic, an unprecedented time, communities are doing what they can to stay connected to one another and keep hope even while physical distance continues.
