XENIA — UPDATE @ 5 a.m.: A fire that broke out Saturday morning at an abandoned house in the 250 block of South Columbus Street likely be will ruled an arson, Xenia Fire Division Chief Kenneth Riggsby said.
The house was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived shortly after 3 a.m.

“The house is totally destroyed at this point,” Riggsby said.
Gas service had been shut off since January, Vectren confirmed.
The incident remains under investigation.
FIRST REPORT: We are hearing reports of a fully engulfed house fire in the 250 block of South Columbus Street.
According to scanner reports, the fire was reported at approximately 3 a.m.
