Fire spreads to 2 Dumpsters behind business in Harrison Twp.

HARRISON TWP. -- (UPDATE @ 5:44 p.m.) Cardboard, in two Dumpsters behind a business on Needmore Road, caught fire and crews are filling them with water.

A Harrison Twp. fire official thinks discarded smoking materials may have touched off the blaze.

The Dumpsters are behind O'Reilly Auto Parts, near the Harbor Freight Tools building. There is no damage to the building.

INITIAL REPORT

Crews are on the scene of a Dumpster fire in the 1900 block of Needmore Road that is believed to have spread to a business.

Crews were dispatched about 5:10 p.m. to 1933 Needmore Road on a report of a fire in the typically large, metal trash holder. A check of the address comes back as Harbor Freight Tools.

We're also hearing a Butler Twp. fire crew was sent to assist Harrison Twp. firefighters.
