SPRINGFIELD — One adult and one juvenile have been apprehended on charges related to unrest and vandalism in downtown Springfield on May 31, police officials said Friday.

The adult was arrested on charges of vandalism and aggravated riot and taken to the Clark County Jail. The juvenile was arrested on charges of vandalism, aggravated riot and breaking and entering.

The arrests stem from an incident Sunday night when 17 windows at 22 E. Main St. were smashed.

Police investigators said they expect to make more arrests.
