UPDATE: WB U.S. 35 reopens after semi overturns early Friday morning

BEAVERCREEK TWP. — UPDATE @ 6:15 a.m.:

State troopers have reopened all westbound U.S. 35 lanes in Greene County after a lengthy overnight closure due to a semitrailer that overturned.

Additional details were not available.

FIRST REPORT:

All lanes of westbound U.S. 35 remain blocked in Greene County after a semitrailer overturned early Friday morning, according to state troopers.

The crash was reported in the westbound lanes of U.S. 35 near Orchard Lane in Beavercreek Twp. around 2:30 a.m.

It was not immediately known if any injuries were reported in the crash.

State troopers are diverting traffic off the highway at Trebein Road to get around the crash.

It was not immediately known how long U.S. 35 was expected to be shut down however dispatchers said the closure could last through the morning.
