He ran 302 times for 1,525 yards and 12 touchdowns as the Browns went 7-10 this past season missing the playoffs.

The other two running backs nominated are Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans and Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders. Both teams also missed the playoffs.

Chubb’s 1,525 yards were the fourth-best in franchise history. He was one of three players in the league to register 50 or more yards from scrimmage in all 17 games this season, according the Browns.

He finished second in the NFL with 11 games of better than 100 scrimmage yards.

Chubb is fourth in Browns history with 6,341 career rushing yards, the second most of any active player in their first five seasons.
