Reds announce events for Hall of Fame weekend in July

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum has announced the upcoming events for the team’s Hall of Fame weekend next month.

The team will induct the Class of 2023 into the Reds Hall of Fame on the weekend of July 14-16, the team announced.

This year’s Reds’ Hall of Fame Class will be Bronson Arroyo, Danny Graves, and Gabe Paul.

The pregame hall of ceremonies will take place Saturday, July 15 as they will induct Arroyo, Graves, and Paul before the Reds game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Fans can attend meet and greets with new inductees and returning Hall of Famers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Museum, the team said.

The new members of this year’s Reds Hall of Fame are:

Bronson Arroyo- A key contributor to three Reds’ postseason teams (2010, 2012, 2013), including two division winners. He was an All-Star in 2006 and Gold Glove Award winner in 2010.

Danny Graves- The only Vietnamese-born player in MLB history. He is the Reds’ all-time saves leader at 182. Graves is a two-time All-Star and key contributed to the 1999 Reds team that finished tied for an NL Wild Card berth.

Gabe Paul- A longtime Reds executive. He served as general manager from 1951-1960. Paul was instrumental in strengthening and diversifying the Reds’ talent pool through key acquisitions of both African Americans and Latino players. He acquired most of the players in the 1961 NL pennant-winning team and future Reds Hall of Famers, Pete Rose and Tony Perez.

Cincinnati opens the second half of the Major League Baseball season by hosting Milwaukee at Great American Ball Park, July 14-16.
