Bengals sign 2023 draft picks, undrafted free agents

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals have signed all eight of their selections from this year’s NFL draft.

The Bengals also had their first day of rookie minicamp on Friday.

This includes defensive end Myles Murphy, cornerback D.J. Turner, safety Jordan Battle, wide receiver Charlie Jones, running back Chase Brown, wide receiver Andrei Iosivas, punter Brad Robbins, and cornerback D.J. Ivey.

Murphy was the Bengals’ first-round selection (28th overall pick) out of Clemson. He played in 38 games, including 27 starts, and had 119 tackles. Murphy also registered 17.5 sacks, and 37 tackles for losses. He was also an All-ACC second-team selection in both 2021 and 2022.

Cincinnati picked Turner in the second round. He played four seasons at Michigan, playing in 36 games, including 22 starts. He registered 69 tackles (53 solos) and three interceptions.

Battle was selected in the third round out of Alabama. He started 44 games and had 251 tackles and six interceptions.

The Bengals picked Jones in the fourth round out of Purdue. He spent one season there after two years at Iowa (2020-21) and one year at Buffalo (2018). Jones was a second-team All-American and All-Big Ten first-team in 2022 as he led FBS with 110 catches for 1,361 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Cincinnati also signed 13 college free agents.
