DAYTON — Three area high schools have advanced to the 2023 Boys State Basketball Championships at the UD Arena in Dayton.

Chaminade-Julienne advanced to the Division II state semifinals beating Alter, 64-59, Saturday night in the regional final at Trent Arena in Kettering. The Eagles will play Lutheran West on March 17 at 10:45 a.m. at the UD Arena.
Russia will play in the Division IV state semifinals after beating Jackson Center, 27-25, at Trent Arena in Kettering on Friday night. They play Richmond Heights on March 17 at 8:30 p.m.
Centerville beat Fairfield, 64-53, on Saturday at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati in the Division I Regional Final. It’s their third regional championship in a row. The Elks will play Fairfield in the state semifinals on March 18 at 5:45 p.m.

The boys basketball state finals will take place on March 19. The times for each championship game are:
- Division II- 10:45 a.m.
- Luthran West/CJ vs Bishop Ready/Buchtel
- Division IV- 2:00 p.m.
- Hiliard/Crestview vs Russia/Richmond Heights
- Division III- 5:15 p.m.
- Ottawa-Glandorf/Africentric Early College vs Harvest Prep/Lutheran East
- Division I- 8:30 p.m.
- Centerville/Pickerington Central vs Archbishop Hoban/St. John’s Jesuit
