Major Highway Incidents

• On I-75 North, near the ramp to U.S. 35 East, one person has been taken to a hospital after a two-vehicle, rear-end accident. Traffic is down to one lane (far left). The accident occurred in the middle lane about 5:20 p.m.
• On southbound I-75 south of U.S. 40 in Vandalia, a crash involving a car and semi was reported around 8 a.m. ODOT cameras reported very slow traffic in the area. The left and center lanes were blocked, with the right lane still open. Traffic is backed up past Northwoods Boulevard. The male driver of the car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, while the female driver of the semi also was transported with back pain.
• On northbound I-75 at U.S. 35 in Dayton, a disabled semi blocked the right lane at 6:50 a.m.

Surface Street Incidents

• At Kettering Boulevard and Hoyle Place in Moraine, a two-vehicle accident was reported around 8:20 a.m. Three people were transported to hospitals. The driver of the truck was cited for not having a driver's license and making an improper lane change.
• At Washington Road and Eldean Road in Miami County, a two-vehicle accident was reported around 9 a.m. One person has died in the crash and another person was taken to Miami Valley by Careflight.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

• I-70 east Ramp to I-75 north, 24 hour ramp closure July 6^th – 27^th. The official detour is: I-70 east to SR 202 to I-70 west to I-75 north
• I-75 north Ramp to Main Street,24 HOUR RAMP CLOSURE July 6^th – August 15^th. The official detour is: I-75 north to Stanley Avenue to I-75 south to Main Street
• Main Street Ramp to I-75 south,ramp closure July 9^th – August 15^th. The official detour is: Main St. to Monument St. to Ludlow Street to US 35 west to I-75 south.
• I-75 north between Stanley Avenue and Wagner Ford Road, 24 HOUR shoulder closure June 27th – July 15th.
• SR 48 between Savina Avenue and Wenger Road, lane closures through Aug. 31. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• District Wide- Installing Pavement markers on Montgomery SR 40, SR 49, SR 725, SR 741, various lane closures June 14 – July 15 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• The exit ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound U.S. 35 in Dayton is expected to be closed until November.
• The Webster Street bridge is closed as it is rebuilt. A detour will take motorists to Keowee Street to Monument Avenue. The project is scheduled to be completed in November of 2017
• East River Road between Dryden Road and Arbor Boulevard, road closed until July 7. The official detour is Dryden Road to Arbor Boulevard to East River Road.
• I-75 northbound ramp to US 35 westbound, ramp closed until Oct. 31. The official detour is I-75 north to U.S. 35 east to Jefferson Street to Washington Street to Ludlow Street to U.S. 35 west.
• SR 48 north between Rockridge Road and Hillgrove Avenue, lane closure until July 31. One northbound lane will remain open.
• Third Street between Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and Perry Street, lane closures through September. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• I-70 between Airport Access Road and SR 48, lane addition project. Two lanes open in each direction. Motorists will encounter barrels and construction in this area.
• The ramp from U.S. 35 eastbound to I-75 northbound, ramp closed through September 2017. Motorists will be able to utilize the specially designed U-turn lane located at the Edwin C. Moses Boulevard exit.
• Robert Drive between Fifth Street and Third Street road closed through September of 2017. The detour is Southbound — Perry Street to Fourth Street, Northbound — Fifth Street to Wilkinson.
• The First Street, Second Street and Third Street ramps along I-75 northbound and southbound, are permanently closed. A newly constructed ramp is scheduled to open to motorists in the downtown area in December of 2016. The official detour during these ramp closures is: I-75 North to U.S. 35 East to Jefferson Street to First and Third streets. Motorists can also use Main Street or Edwin C. Moses Boulevard.
• Vista View Drive between Second Street and Third Street, road closed through September of 2017. Detour posted.
• Red Cross Lane between First Street and Gibbs Lane, road closed through September 2016. The official detour is: First Street to Perry Street to Second Street to Red Cross Lane.

MIAMI COUNTY

• District Wide- Installing Pavement markers on Miami SR 718, SR 721, SR 55, SR 202, SR 41, various lane closures through July 15 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• I-75 at CR 25A (Troy), width restrictions March 29 through Oct. 31. Northbound lanes will be restricted to 13 feet. Southbound lanes will be restricted to 12 feet. Two lanes will remain open in each direction with one northbound lane shifted to the southbound side and one northbound lane operating on the northbound side. Two southbound lanes will also be open on the southbound side.
• I-75 south ramp to CR 25A near Troy, ramp closed March 21 through Oct. 28. The official detour is I-75 south to SR 41 to I-75 north to CR 25A.

GREENE COUNTY

• Bridge deck replacement means a temporary signal on U.S. 68 over Painters Creek, just north of the Greene/Clinton line, beginning June 20. The temporary signal will be used to maintain one lane of two-way traffic on U.S. 68 for 120 days.

DARKE COUNTY

• District Wide- Installing Pavement markers on Darke SR 47, SR 571, U.S. 36, SR 49, Various lane closures through July 15 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• District-wide microsurfacing project on Champaign SR 814, Champaign SR 560, Champaign SR 235, Clark SR 235, Miami SR 48, Darke SR 118 and Darke SR 121. Various lane closures through July 30 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
• SR 47 between SR 118 and Tiger Way in Ansonia, road closure through Aug. 31. The official detour is: SR 118 to SR 705 to US 127.

MERCER COUNTY

• SR 49 between the Mercer-Darke County line and Fort Recovery Corporation Limit,Various lane closures June 27^th – July 29^th between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• SR 49 between SR 29 and SR 707, Various lane closures June 27^th – July 29^th between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• SR 118 between SR 29 and the Coldwater Corporation limit, Various lane closures June 27^th – July 29^th between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• SR 118 between Frahm Pike and SR 707, Various lane closures June 27^th – July 29^th between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• District Wide- Installing Pavement markers on Mercer US 33, SR 117, SR 707, SR 197, US127, SR 703, SR 716, SR 49, SR 219, Various lane closures June 14^th – July 15^th between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• District Wide- Resurfacing project on Mercer SR 119, Mercer SR 274, Shelby SR 29 and Shelby SR 119 Various lane closures June 13^th – July 29^th between the hours of 6:30 am and 7 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
• SR 703 between SR 29 and SR 364, Daily lane closures June 6^th – July 29^th between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
• District Wide- Shoulder Closures on I-75 in Mercer, Shelby and Auglaize Counties, Auglaize US 33, Mercer SR 29, and Darke US 127. Various shoulder closures May 16^th – July 15^th between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm. Lanes will remain open, but the shoulders will be closed.
• SR 29 between Enterprise Street and US 33,Daily lane closures April 18^th – July 30^th between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. These closures will be in Mercer and Auglaize counties. One lane will remain open at all times.

CLARK COUNTY

• Moorefield Road between Old Mechanicsburg Road and Grant Road, bridge closure through Sept. 24. The official detour is: SR 4 to Croft Road to Old Columbus Road to Mahar Road.
• District Wide- Installing Pavement markers on Clark SR 571, SR 235, I-70, SR 4, SR 41, SR 334, U.S. 42, SR 54, various lane closures through July 15 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• SR 41 between Titus Road/Ridge Road and Gateway Boulevard, lane closures until July 14. Traffic will be shifted to one side of the bridge. One lane will remain open in each direction.

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY

• SR 4 between the Clark County line and the Mechanicsburg south corporation limit, lane closures through Aug. 31. One lane will be maintained for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
• SR 29 between Mechanicsburg west corporation limit and the Madison County line, lane closures through Aug. 31. One lane will be maintained for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
• Districtwide chip and seal project on Logan SR 287, Champaign SR 29, Champaign SR 245, Champaign SR 559 and Clark SR 41. Various lane closures April 18 – Sept. 30 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction through the use of flaggers.
• District Wide- Micro surfacing project on Champaign SR 814, Champaign SR 560, Champaign SR 235, Clark SR 235, Miami SR 48, Darke SR 118 and Darke SR 121. Various lane closures through July 30 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

• US 33 east between SR 29 and SR 66, 24 hour lane closures July 7^th – August 12^th. One eastbound lane will remain open
• U.S. 33 east between U.S. 33A and Blackhoof Street, lane closure through July 18. One eastbound lane will remain open. The U.S. 33A ramp will also be closed during this time. The official detour is: 33 west to Moulton-Ft. Amanda Road to U.S. 33 east
• U.S. 33A eastbound ramp to U.S. 33, ramp closure through July 18. The official detour is: U.S. 33 west to Moulton-Ft. Amanda Road to U.S. 33 east.
• District Wide- Installing Pavement markers on Auglaize U.S. 33, SR 66, SR 67, SR 197, SR 219, SR 364, SR 703.
• SR 65 between Southland Road and Sellers Road, lane closures through July 30 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions through the use of flaggers.
• District Wide- Shoulder Closures on I-75 in Mercer, Shelby and Auglaize Counties, Auglaize U.S. 33, Mercer SR 29, and Darke U.S. 127. Various shoulder closures May 16th – July 15th between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Lanes will remain open, but the shoulders will be closed.
• I-75 between SR 274 and National Road, daily lane closures through July 29 between the hours of 3 a.m. and 3 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
