Driver turns himself in after crashing into Warren Co. restaurant, injuring 3

LOVELAND — UPDATE @ 5 p.m.:

A driver who is accused of crashing into a patio of a Warren County restaurant Friday night, and running from the scene has turned himself in.

Officers from the Loveland Police Department responded around 9 p.m. to the 100 block of Loveland Avenue on initial reports of a pickup truck crashing into an outdoor patio of Paxton’s Grill, Loveland police said on social media.

The driver of the pickup truck then drove away the scene.

The driver, who police have not identified, turned himself in to police Saturday afternoon, according to the Loveland Police Department on social media.

Three people were injured in the crash and taken to the hospital, all are expected to be okay, according to our news partner WCPO in Cincinnati.

The restaurant posted on its Facebook page Saturday that they are grateful no one was seriously hurt and will be opening today at 4 p.m.

Police said multiple traffic charges are pending.
