Dayton fugitive arrested in Atlanta

A fugitive from Dayton was arrested in Atlanta Wednesday morning.

Lance Ealy, 28, was indicted by a federal grand jury for 46 counts of fraudulent activity, including buying and receiving stolen identities, access car devices, and filing false income tax returns, according to a release. Ealy was on electronic monitoring during his trial in 2014, but days before the jury returned a guilty verdict, he cut off his ankle monitor and fled, according to the release.

Ealy was arrested early this morning in Atlanta. He remains in the Northern District of Georgia until he can be extradited.
