Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to close Thursday evening for inclement weather

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — As the Miami Valley prepares for inclement weather, Wright Patterson Air Force Base officials are announcing it will close Thursday evening.

A spokesperson for WPAFB said that the base will close at 6 p.m. on Thursday through Friday.

Base-essential employees are asked to use gates 12A and 22B.

Only emergency medical services will be available at the Wright-Patterson Medical Center during the closure.

The gas station and Kittyhawk Express will open at 7:30 a.m. on Friday. All other Army and Air Force Exchange Service facilities, as well as the base commissary, will be closed “in alignment with the installation closure,” according to a spokesperson.
