The Wright-Patterson Snow Removal Team displayed its wide range of snow removal equipment Wednesday during the annual Wright-Patt Snow Parade.
Equipment operators were on hand to "show and tell" their experiences in operating the equipment on the East Ramp, adjacent to Base Operations in Area A.
Col. Tom Sherman, 88th Wing Commander, said, "this is the backbone and the crew that we're getting a chance to see today. So not only are we seeing the hardware but the people that make sure this base is operational during all those situations."
The team's mission is to clear snow and ice from streets and runways on base.
The display included 22-foot snow plows, giant snow blowers, large trucks, tractors and other equipment.
