Warrant issued for man accused of forcing woman to undress during robbery

DAYTON — An arrest warrant has been issued for the man police said forced a woman to undress while he held a knife to a her during a robbery at her apartment earlier this month.

Ronald Russel Johnson Sr., 33, of Dayton, is wanted on charges of kidnapping for sexual activity, gross sexual imposition, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, theft and misuse of credit cards.

Johnson is accused of entering the woman’s Jewelstone Drive apartment without permission on Oct. 2 around 10:30 a.m.

Police said Johnson showed a knife and demanded money, a debit card and cell phone.

“Johnson proceeding further into the apartment and forced (the victim) at knife point into a bedroom and had her remove all her clothing,” a detective wrote in an affidavit. “Johnson forced (the victim) on her hands and knees onto the bed, placing his hands on her buttocks.”

Investigators said Johnson was inside the apartment for about 10 minutes before he left with her debit card. The victim said her debit card was used for transactions at the Marathon station at 4351 Riverside Drive, where security cameras showed Johnson using the card, according to records.

Johnson is not currently in jail.
