Christopher Morrison graduated from UD in 1985 and returned in an official capacity beginning in 2013. Morrison would serve as the Director of Campaign Operations where he has supported alumni, recruited a volunteer network, and implemented philanthropic processes during his tenure.

University officials are excited to welcome Morrison to his new role of Advancement Division Vice President.

“A UD alum and parent with great passion for UD, Chris has an innate understanding of our identity and mission, and deep knowledge of advancement operations and staff,” UD President Eric F. Spina said. “I am excited about his leadership and know that the commitment of the entire advancement division will be key to making the transition and having a successful campaign.”

Morrison looks forward to making a continued impact in the UD community and continuing his charitable efforts.

“What excites me and makes me proud is having an impact on generating philanthropic support for scholarships and experiential learning opportunities for our students,” Morrison said. “This is a great opportunity for me to continue giving back to the University that has given so much and continues to give so much to me, my wife whom I met here and our children who are also UD alumni.”
