81-year-old Mansfield man found; alert cancelled

MANSFIELD — UPDATE @ 5:07 a.m.:

Charles Cobb has been found safe and the Statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been cancelled.

INITIAL REPORT:

A statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been issued for a Mansfield man last seen Monday evening.

The 81-year-old drove away from his residence in Richland County on Maple St. around 7:30 p.m. and failed to return, according to the Mansfield Police Department.

Cobb is a white male, 5′10 tall, weighs 185 lbs., and has gray hair and brown eyes.

Cobb suffers from dementia and law enforcement is concerned for his safety.

The vehicle involved is a black 2011 Ford F-150 with a blue tailgate and no tags.
