OVERNIGHT: Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Robert Gauthreaux says it will be chilly and mostly clear with temperatures dropping into the 20s.

MONDAY: Frigid start. Temperatures climbing into the upper 40s by the afternoon under mostly sunny skies.

Some places may reach 50.

Spring officially starts at 5:24 p.m.

TUESDAY: Beginning mostly sunny. Some showers may move in by late evening as well as clouds. Seasonable temperatures in the mid 50s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with some showers. Temperatures in the upper 50s.

THURSDAY: Cloudy with scattered showers and the chance for a few thunderstorms. Could be gusty at times and some instances of heavy rain are possible. Much warmer with temperatures near 70.

FRIDAY: Rain likely and cooler with highs in the upper 50s.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and warm with highs in the low 60s.
