UPDATE: Coroner IDs man dead after shooting from domestic incident in Harrison Township

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — A man is dead and a woman is seriously hurt after a shooting from a domestic incident in Harrison Township late Sunday night.

On Monday afternoon the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the man killed as 64-year-old Donzie Arnette.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 11:40 p.m. at the 700 block of Wilbur Avenue on initial reports of a shooting, according to the sheriff’s office.

Upon arrival, deputies found a 55-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds. She had been able to walk to a neighbor’s residence and call 911.

Medics transported her to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Deputies found Arnette, later revealed to be the woman’s live-in boyfriend, inside the residence on Wilbur Avenue who had also been shot.

Medics took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

A preliminary investigation shows the incident shows the incident was domestic-related, according to the sheriff’s office.

It remains under investigation.
