Several power lines down after this weekend’s strong winds; Power mostly restored

MIAMI VALLEY — Several AES Ohio power poles were damaged across the area following Saturday’s strong wind gusts.

Power has been mostly restored across the area.

As many as 26,000 AES Ohio customers were without power Saturday, AES Ohio said on social media.

Power crews have been restoring service across the area since Saturday.

Several trees were down across the area from Saturday’s strong winds.

Ohio Edison is reporting 164 customers in Clark County, including 146 in Springfield, are still without power, according to its website.
