Several stolen cars seized as part of multiple DEA, FBI enforcements in Dayton

DAYTON — Multiple stolen luxury vehicles and drug evidence were seized as part of several federal searches in Dayton Friday morning.

As reported on News Center 7 at 5:00, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and local partners executed at least three search warrants in the areas of Mayfair Road, West Hillcrest Avenue, and Odlin Avenue.

On scene, News Center 7 crews also spotted the Dayton Police Department and Ohio State Highway Patrol.

“We did seize drug evidence and recovered five stolen vehicles,” DEA spokesperson Brian McNeal said.

Our crews watched as investigators in tactical gear focused their attention on a red Corvette and a white Cadillac. Hours later the Cadillac was put on a tow truck and taken away.

“There were no arrests made,” McNeal said. “It’s an ongoing investigation so I don’t have any more details.”

We’ll provide updates as we learn more.
