Senator Sherrod Brown, local leaders visit Dayton International Airport

DAYTON — Democratic U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown toured the James M. Cox Dayton International Airport Friday afternoon.

While there, Brown also discussed the bipartisan infrastructure law which will provide the airport with more than $21 million in grants over five years.

“When public dollars are invested in an airport, it leverages other investment dollars, and Dayton’s doing it right, and it’s going to mean jobs,” Brown said.

Brown also said the money will allow the airport to complete critical projects and upgrades.
