Secret Santa helps struggling families this Christmas

One Montgomery County couple is helping families out with their bills this Christmas.

Every year since 2012, this couple has played secret Santa and donated a lump sum of money to the Montgomery County Environmental Services, as well as Vectren and Dayton Power and Light, according to a release.

This money goes towards paying bills for people who struggle to do so on their own.

“They are overjoyed. They are very grateful for this, they didn’t expect it. It really brightened the holidays for them,” said Robert Breen, Interim Communications Coordinator.

The Environmental Services said this paid the bills of four families this year.
