9-1-1 caller: Dayton victim ‘showed up to my back door and he’s been stabbed’

UPDATE @ 2:15 a.m: In a three-minute call to 9-1-1 dispatchers, a woman said a male victim showed up to her residence after being assaulted in Dayton Sunday night.

“He showed up to my backdoor and he’s been stabbed,” the woman said.

The victim, who can be heard in the background, tells the woman he was stabbed by two men on Linden and Huffman Avenues before showing up to her home in the 500 block of Ingram Street.

“He got stabbed in the ribs,” the caller tells dispatchers.

The victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital in unknown condition and was later treated and released, hospital representatives said.

The relationship, if any, between the caller and the victim is not clear.

Police have not made any arrests in this case and no further suspect descriptions were immediately available.

The incident remains under investigation.

Police and medics are on scene of a reported stabbing in Dayton.

Emergency crews were called to the 500 block of Ingram Street around 9:30 p.m. on a report a male had been stabbed, according to dispatchers.

According to dispatchers, the victim advised police the stabbing took place on Huffman Avenue.

The extent of the victim’s injuries are not known.

No arrests have been made, dispatchers said.
