DAYTON — Editor’s Note: A previous version of the story stated the man was reportedly stabbed in the head. The 911 call states he was stabbed in the hand.
A man’s wife called the police, claiming her husband was attacked.
The call came out just before 1 a.m. to the 2000 block of North Main Street, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatcher.

In a 911 call obtained by News Center 7, a woman can be heard saying that she needed an ambulance.
“My husband has been stabbed,” she told the dispatcher.
The dispatcher can be heard asking the woman where her husband was stabbed.
The woman told the dispatcher that “his hand is bleeding. There’s blood coming from his hand.”
She claims the people who stabbed her husband also threw acid on him.
Police are still working to learn exactly what happened and have not confirmed if the man was attacked by acid.
