Motorcyclist injured in rear-end collision with sedan in Riverside

A motorcyclist has been taken to a hospital, suffering from serious injuries, in a collision with a sedan in Riverside.

The motorcyclist was speeding, weaving in and out of traffic, on North Woodman Drive and Eastman Avenue about 8:15 p.m. when the bike rear-ended a gold sedan, Riverside police Sgt. Mike Safriet said.

The impact of the collision threw the biker, who ended up in a ditch. He has been taken to Miami Valley Hospital.

He was not wearing a helmet, the sergeant said.

The driver of the sedan was not injured.
