WEST MILTON — A man was transported to an area hospital by a medical hospital after injuring himself during an accident involving an excavator in West Milton.
Crews on scene told News Center 7 that the man was swinging from an excavator and held on too long, causing him to collide with the excavator and sustain a head injury.
A medical helicopter was called after the man was unconscious and unresponsive. He later came to, but was still flown to an area hospital to be evaluated.
The incident happened around 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
