At least 1 injured, hospitalized from Dayton crash

DAYTON — At least one person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Dayton Saturday overnight.

Dayton Police and Fire were dispatched to the intersection of South James H McGee Boulevard and Howell Avenue at 2:02 a.m. on reports of an injury crash, Montgomery County Regional Dispatch said.

When officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they found at least one person injured, prompting a medical response. The person was transported to Miami Valley Hospital for further treatment.

However, first responders spoke over emergency scanners stating that two people were transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The severity of their condition is currently unknown.

The Dayton Police Department led the investigation into the crash.
