DARKE COUNTY — A juvenile was arrested after going 31 miles over the posted speed limit in Darke County Saturday night.

Around 7:16 p.m. Saturday, a Darke County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle that was going south on State Route 118 near Children’s Home Bradford Rd.

The vehicle was going 86 mph in a 55 mph zone, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle did not pull over when the deputy attempted the traffic stop, and instead turned west on Children’s Home Bradford Rd and continued driving.
The deputy pursued as the vehicles continued toward Arnold Rd before going into a public drive and into a wooded area.
The vehicle became stuck, according to the release, and all three occupants got out before being taken into custody.
All three occupants were juveniles. The driver was arrested and taken to West Central Juvenile Detention Center for Failure to Comply, a fourth-degree felony.
The other two juveniles were released to their parents and are not facing charges, according to the release.
